Nippon Paint (America) Corporation (NPA) is part of the worldwide family of Nippon Paint, one of Japan's leading manufacturers of paints and coatings, which was founded in 1881. NPA was established in 1975 in New York and is primarily engaged in continuing the corporation's efforts to globalize operations and penetrate new markets. In 1998, we relocated to Teaneck, New Jersey which has provided us with additional capital for anticipated ventures.

On January 1st, 2002, NPA was merged into Nippon Paint (USA) Inc.(NPU). As the trading division of NPU, NPA has continued to serve its customers by supplying essential products through importation, exportation and toll manufacturing arrangements. We have successfully linked advanced technologies to a diverse array of markets including the automotive, printing, and medical industries. Our traditional business strengths have always included sales of coatings, imaging chemicals, and medical device components. While we continue to successfully market these products, we head into the next century with renewed optimism and new product lines such as isocyanates and innovative plastic processing aids.
